Love Roma. Very sappy and adorable and simple comic by Toyoda Minoru, and eek it is wonderful. First picked up the first volume back in SG out of interest and now I must collect the whole series - his writing is very simple and brilliant and I love his characters and how he manages to put so much fun detail in his sometimes simple art. (Playing Hunt the SCD in some of the chapters is great fun) Have also been studying his panelling techniques with great glee too.
I'm not looking forward to reading all the stories because then it means I won't have any more to read...but oh, I will re-read and re-read the volumes until they wither away in confusion and vanish and then I will cry my eyes out because I have no more Love Roma.

Princess Maker 5. Still. I've been playing this game for a while and am yet to actually finish a game...although I
thought I was going to today. (insert dum de DUUUUUUUM horror fanfare)
Okay, so normally with the
Princess Maker games, you play until your daughter's 18th birthday and then you kick your sweet child of 8 years out into the Big Bad World and read about what happens in the papers. (Unless you marry her, then I suspect you hear about her day every day, only not really because you're just paying attention to her breasts or something.)
So I reached my daughter's 18th birthday (she's a November baby) with a bit of motherly concern and...nothing - she just kept going. Hell, she's got a Christmas dateplanned now. And her planner is still working and ready til March of the following year.
CUE THE WORLD ENDING. I can't find anything about it in the manual but admittedly my Chinese is not great. I'm not sure if I need a patch or the game plays til (what I presume is) the end of the school year, but I'm going to keep playing til I get bored because I've been meaning to start a new character soon. Although the game does take, um, quite a while to get through. But at least there's no fricking PM2 Dance Competition scene.
